Margaret Kinsella

Margaret has worked for fifteen years in the Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown as lecturer in computing and creative digital media. Her primary teaching and research interests are programming, visual creativity and expression, universal design and personal development. Margaret worked in Roslyn Park College further education college (part of REHAB group) for ten years teaching programming and assistive technologies and before that in industry as a software developer. Incorporating universal design in academic programmes is one of her research areas, particularly creating meaningful ways of introducing students to universal design and developing universal design thinking for the student through creativity, discovery and storytelling.
