Antoinette Fennell

Antoinette Fennell is a Universal Design Consultant who specialises in research to inform the design process (of products, service and environments) and to influence design education, policy and guidelines. Antoinette has been involved in the development of National and International universal design guidelines and standards. She co-authored the CEUD Universal Design Guidelines for Digital TV equipment and services and most recently has contributed as an expert within the framework of the EC Mandate M/473 to include Universal Design in relevant standardization initiatives. She was lead researcher on CEUD's Universal Design Curriculum Project, which involved the development of a Universal Design module for third level design students. She has a PhD in Behaviour from University College Dublin.
