Sean is a recognised expert in the implementation of design thinking and creativity in industry, delivered through a structured and disciplined proprietary process that has delivered considerable success for client companies across the globe. Success ranges from delivering significant value to the bottom line to award winning patent and IP rich products in a variety of sectors. Sean also works to embed the core Dolmen Discovery process and culture in businesses, embedding the practical tools and techniques of how to verify and validate the unmet and unarticulated needs of their target clients and customers and develop an innovation management system.
In 1991 Sean set up Dolmen with the vision to lead a marketplace mind set change where the value of ideas, creativity and design thinking becomes an essential currency for our clients and their customers. Dolmen is an award-winning new product and service development company, who operate out of Dublin with a team of 15 innovation and design experts. Their client base includes Irish, U.K, Spanish, and U.S clients.
Sean has collaborated with Raymond Turner of Raymond Turner Associates, author of Design Leadership, where they implemented major transformational programmes, built around leveraging the Strategic Value of Design as a key market differentiator.
Sean has lead a Working Group on the development of the new CEN TC 389 Innovation Management System – published in March 2015 and due to be an ISO by 2018.
