Dr Marian McCarthy

Marian McCarthy is a senior lecturer in Education and the director of the new Centre for the Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning at UCC , formerly Ionad Bairre, The Teaching and Learning Centre, University College Cork, which she co- directs. She runs the certified courses for staff in teaching and learning in higher education. Marian has a keen interest in the work of the Disability Support Service at UCC and is privileged to work with Dr Brian Butler from DSS on a number of courses and projects. She is also on the current board of AHEAD. She is particularly interested in the arts as a catalyst for engagement and learning.
